Cliff Watts is an American fashion & celebrity portrait photographer as well as commercial director who creates intimate portraits that reveal the sensuality, humor and humanity that lie behind the public image of his subjects.
In 2012, Watts published his first personal book with Damiani Publishing called Watts Wood Water & Rocks. As outlined in his book, he is contrasting the human (male and female) nude against the textures of rock, grass, sand, wood and water, the black-and-white photographs of American fashion and portrait photographer Cliff Watts envisage bodies as "human fossils". Watts describes this volume as a "collaboration between myself and six willing friends who volunteered to go through extreme heat, freezing cold and various uncomfortable conditions."
