Swiss photographer Adeline Sumney Wohlwend’s great passion lays in landscape photographer. It allows her to combine her two most favorite activities - travel and image.
Wohlwend has been been based in Los Angeles for the past 8 years, working in California and Europe. Her interest in photography began at an early age during a trip to Italy. Her dad had just bought his first professional camera and Wohlwend started documenting everything with it. It soon became her first camera.
Wohlwend began her professional career 15 years ago assisting some of the top photographers in the world such as Peter Lindbergh. This gave her a strong technical foundation, and practiced fluency with light and space. She has a talent for connecting with people and drawing out their unique beauty. Her portraits are defined by unexpected moments that bring out the quality of her subject’s character.
